A fascinating travelogue-novel, this story follows the author’s journeys across continents, from famous cities to unknown towns. Whether on personal expeditions or invited tours, he always manages to steal moments for solitary wanderings, seeking a deeper connection with himself.
This time, he arrives in Medellín, Colombia, a city infamous for drug cartels and violence. However, he is astonished to see a massive crowd gathered for poetry recitations. During his journey, he encounters Iliana, a middle-aged aristocratic woman with an air of regal elegance. Her presence lingers throughout the novel, culminating in a dramatic and mysterious climax, where the narrator sees someone like her caught in a violent police clash. Was that really Iliana? What led her to such a fate?

As he roams through forests and landscapes, he encounters rivers like Kapotaksha, Arial Khan, Bidya, Lidder, Purna, Jayanti, Bipasha, and Dhansiri, each with its own personality and essence.
Some rivers appear simple and unadorned, while others radiate mystical charm. Some are surrounded by dense jungles, while others seem to breathe poetry and tranquility.
