About the Author
Binata Roychowdhury was born in Kolkata and completed her education at Bethune School, Presidency College, and Calcutta University, where she earned her Ph.D.. She currently serves as an Associate Professor in the Bengali Department at Bijaykrishna Girls' College.
In addition to her academic career, Binata Roychowdhury is a noted writer with several literary accomplishments. Her works have earned her various prestigious awards, including the Sadhana Sarkar Smriti Researcher Award, Hindoli Literature Award, and the Publishers and Booksellers Guild Special Literary Award in 2009. She has also received the Shatpuruna Ashaapurna Silver Memorial for her contribution to literature.
