About the Author

Samaresh Majumdar (Born: March 10, 1944) spent his childhood in the tea gardens of Dooars. He studied at Jalpaiguri Zilla School before moving to Kolkata in 1960. He completed his Bachelor's in Bengali Literature from Scottish Church College and later earned his Master’s degree from Calcutta University. He initially engaged in group theater before transitioning to writing plays, short stories, and novels.
