About the Author / Editor

• V.N. Singh earned his Ph.D. in Sociology from Lucknow University. He has authored 42 books and over 300 articles and research papers. He has served as the Joint Secretary of the Uttar Pradesh Sociological Association and as an expert on various committees at Kanpur University. He also served as the Reader and Head of the Sociology Department at Dayanand Brajendra Swaroop PG College, Kanpur University.

• Janmajay Singh completed his Ph.D. in Sociology from Kanpur University and has been involved in educational work. He is also a co-author of several books.
