About the Authors

B.K. Nagla is a former Professor of Sociology at M.D. University, Rohtak. He has taught at various universities, including M.S. University, Baroda, and the Institute of Criminology and Forensic Science, New Delhi. After his retirement, he worked as a consultant to Kota Open University and served as the Babu Jagjivan Ram Chair Professor at Banaras Hindu University. He has been a visiting professor in several universities across India and abroad.

Sheobahal Singh is a former Professor of Sociology at DDU Gorakhpur University. Specializing in society and economy, he has contributed extensively to journals, edited volumes, and national and international seminars. His works include publications on entrepreneurship, development, and change, and his books include Entrepreneurship and Social Change and Sociology of Development.
