Description:
- "Jochona Theke Juya" is a poetic collection by Binayak Bandopadhyay that showcases a fusion of opposites—water and fire, rainbow and jasmine, bite and kiss. These contrasting themes echo throughout the poems, creating a unique blend of passion and contemplation.
- The poet, known for his earlier works like "Boshonter Chithi Boshontsena", "Posta", and "Rai Bolte Chai", continues to challenge conventional poetic norms in this book. In this new collection, Bandopadhyay delves deep into existential themes, blending beauty and destruction, love and hatred, life and death in a seamless dance of words.
- The poems here reflect a new facet of the poet’s persona—one who can boldly say, “In this spring, I wish to die,” while also urging the reader to feel deeply about the complex relationships in life.
- The collection’s unique combination of free-flowing rhythm and structured prose guides the reader to a space where even enmity can taste sweet like love.
