About the Author:
Sudhir Dutta was born on April 12, 1951, in a small village in West Medinipur, West Bengal. Raised by a widowed aunt after the loss of his parents at an early age, he was drawn to spirituality and poetry. Sudhir's first poems were published during his college years, and he became a regular contributor to literary journals like Sangbed and Niryas. He has worked in various fields, including teaching and banking, before joining the West Bengal Civil Service in 1979. His literary influences include poets like T.S. Eliot, Rilke, Bishnu Dey, and Shankha Ghosh. After a ten-year hiatus, Sudhir returned to the poetry scene with a new vigor.
