About the Book:
More than 2,250 years ago, Emperor Ashoka established a secret society comprising nine unknown scholars, each specializing in different fields of supreme knowledge. Many believe this mysterious society still exists today.
This historical intrigue serves as the foundation for Sahil, a scriptwriter, who develops a Hindi film screenplay on the topic. However, when producer Roshan Mehta rejects the script, Sahil embarks on a quest for deeper historical insights, leading him to Amarendranath Sikdar in North Kolkata.
The novel unfolds through two parallel narratives:
- Sahil’s thriller screenplay, where three aged scholars—Prithwish Mitra, Bishwanath Karmakar, and Achintya Baidya—uncover the secrets of the ancient society, clashing with opposing forces.
- As Sahil narrates his screenplay to Amarendranath Sikdar, Barnarali and Kinki influence the script’s course, ultimately revealing another hidden mystery.
With its gripping historical intrigue and suspense, Pragyasutra takes readers on an intellectual adventure, exploring ancient secrets and modern storytelling twists.
