About the Author:
Sanjib Chattopadhyay was born in 1936 on the outskirts of Kolkata. Initially a science graduate, he later shifted to arts and worked as a teacher. He also served as a chemist in a major chemical company before joining the West Bengal government’s industrial development department for the promotion of small-scale and cottage industries.
His editorial journey began under Swami Shraddhananda at Udbodhan, the official journal of Ramakrishna Mission. Later, he ventured into industrial journalism and worked with the Anandabazar Patrika group. With over 50 published works spanning various literary genres, he won the prestigious Ananda Puraskar in 1981.
