Synopsis:
Prashanta Nandi is a simple middle-class man working in a low-paying job, soon to retire. His wife, Kalyani, sees him as an idle man. Their son, Madal, is intelligent and calm, frequently switching jobs if dissatisfied. Their daughter, Madhulata, avoids college, wandering through shopping malls and even stepping onto questionable paths to earn money.

Despite his modest life, Prashanta hails from an old zamindar (landlord) family. One day, a stranger arrives with a piece of a broken stone angel’s wing, supposedly unearthed from their ancestral zamindar house. He offers money in exchange for Prashanta’s certification, validating the artifact as antique for smuggling. Tempted, Prashanta accepts the deal, stirring a long-buried sense of zamindari pride. What follows is a gripping tale of greed, morality, and transformation.
