About the Author:
Nandita Bagchi was born in Jalpaiguri. After marriage, she lived in Kolkata and Delhi for some time before moving abroad. She resided in northeastern Nigeria, where she worked as a teacher while traveling to remote villages in West Africa due to her husband's profession as a doctor and her involvement in social work.

She was an active member of Nigeria’s International Women’s Club, participating in various social welfare activities. A passionate traveler, she has visited numerous countries. After returning to India, she continues her literary pursuits alongside social work. She has a deep connection with nature and plants and regularly contributes to various Bengali and English publications.
