About the Author:
Sanjay Dasgupta was born on March 29, 1966, in Kolkata. After completing his studies at an English-medium school, he earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He worked as a journalist for Business Standard before moving abroad for a career with international news agencies. Currently, he resides in a quiet countryside town on the outskirts of London, where he continues his journalism career.
He has traveled extensively and is a devoted listener of Indian classical music and Western classical compositions. A passionate reader, his first English novel, Other Lives, Other Fragments, was well received. Mrittika O Mrinmayi marks his debut in Bengali fiction.
