Pinaki Thakur was born on March 22, 1959.

• Started his career as a private tutor, later worked in a factory
• Joined the editorial team of "Desh" magazine, currently works at "Krittibas" magazine
• Has published 20+ books, spanning poetry, fiction, and essays
• His works have been translated into English and multiple Indian languages
