Book Description:

The Ganges is the embodiment of India's culture and spirituality, often regarded as the soul of the nation. From Gomukh to Gangasagar, the banks of the Ganges once nurtured Indian civilization. Northern India's religion, culture, traditions, and economy have flourished around this sacred river.

As the author journeys along the Ganges, he not only experiences its presence but also witnesses the five-thousand-year-old flow of Indian civilization and culture that still thrives along its banks. His reflections are captured both through his lens and his pen. Ganga Darshan is a confluence of history, travel, and spiritual insight, offering readers a mesmerizing view of the past and present along the river’s course. It is more than a travelogue—it is a literary experience that fills the reader with deep satisfaction and knowledge.
