Abhijit Choudhuri
Born on September 1, 1963, in central Kolkata, Abhijit Choudhuri has an academic background with a Master’s in English Literature and a Postgraduate Diploma in Personal Management. He also holds a position in the West Bengal Civil Services (Executive) and currently serves as the B.D.O. (Block Development Officer) in Tehatta, Nadia.
Some of his notable works include Monthara, Samagata Madhumas (Parts 1 and 2), Dharmantar, and Dharme Achhi Jirafe Nei. He has also written a collection of short stories titled Dashti Galpo. In 2017, he was awarded the Madan Mohan Tarkalangkar Award. His novel Monthara was even translated into Odia.
