The Santipuri Saree is a Geographical Indication (GI) product of Bengal, particularly known for its exquisite jacquard designs inspired by nature. These include motifs like Ganga-Jamuna, Benkipar, Rajmahal, and more. The sarees are made with fine cotton yarn ranging from 60s to 100s in both the warp and weft, ensuring a smooth texture. A weaver takes around 2-3 days to complete each saree.
