About Santipuri Saree:

Named after Santipur in the Nadia district of West Bengal, the Santipuri saree is famous for its elegant jacquard design. The saree is made with fine cotton yarn ranging from 60s to 100s in both the warp and weft, giving it a fine texture and durability.

• Geographical Indication (GI): Santipuri saree is a GI product of Bengal.

• Designs: Inspired by nature, Santipuri sarees showcase beautiful motifs such as Ganga-Jamuna, Benkipar, Rajmahal, Do-Rookha, Visva-Bharati, and Nilambari.

• Weaving Time: It takes around 2-3 days to complete a single saree by hand.
