Originating from Santipur, Nadia district in West Bengal, the Santipuri saree is known for its exquisite jacquard design. This saree uses fine cotton yarn ranging from 60s to 100s in both the warp and weft, ensuring a soft yet durable fabric. Santipuri sarees are known for their unique nature-inspired motifs.

• Geographical Indication (GI): Santipuri sarees are a GI product of Bengal.

• Motifs: Featuring designs such as Ganga-Jamuna, Benkipar, Rajmahal, Do-Rookha, Visva-Bharati, Brindamani Mour-Par, and Nilambari.

• Weaving Time: It takes approximately 2-3 days for a skilled weaver to complete a saree.
