The Santipuri saree is a Geographical Indication (GI) product from Santipur, Nadia District of West Bengal, known for its jacquard design.

Fine cotton yarn ranging from 60s to 100s is used in both warp and weft, making these sarees lightweight yet durable.

Santipur’s designs are inspired by nature, including traditional patterns like Ganga-Jamuna, Benkipar, Rajmahal, and Visva-Bharati.

The weaving process takes around 2-3 days to complete a saree, showcasing the dedication and craftsmanship of skilled weavers.
