About Begumpuri Saree:
The Begumpuri saree is a traditional handwoven masterpiece from Hooghly district, made by about 2,000 weavers and 1,000 artisans. These sarees are easy to maintain and require minimal starching. The deep and bright colours of the saree are enhanced by a loosely woven coarse structure that retains a smooth and comfortable feel.
