This book considers two major conflicting beliefs of ancient India.

Firstly, some Indian and most western scholars believe that Rigvedic Saraswati river is Helmand river of Afghanistan. The author has analysed the entire evidence of Rigveda and has tried to show that the above belief is completely baseless. These beliefs go against the Rigvedic evidence. On the other hand, the geographical materials of Rigveda itself make it clear that Rigvedic Saraswati is none other than today's Saraswati-Ghaggar river and both of them flowed together through Haryana and Punjab. Although now it has dried up near Sirsa and its dry area is about 8 kilometers wide at some places. Ultimately this river used to meet the Arabian Sea.

Second- Aryans attacked India, as a result of which the Harappan civilization was wiped out. The author says that there are no signs of any such attack. Harappan civilization and Vedic civilization are two sides of the same coin. If you visit the Harappan settlements of 4500 years ago, do not be surprised to see women applying sindoor in their maang. Farmers of Haryana-Rajasthan till their fields even today as before. Yogasanas, which have been adopted by western countries today, are also the gift of the Harappans and if you want to greet with Namaste, the Harappans will be found happily folding their hands and saying Namaste. Therefore, the soul of India has always been alive and will remain alive.
