About the Author:
Amal Bhowmick was born in 1945 in Sirajganj, now part of Bangladesh, but he spent his childhood in Kaliyaganj, North Dinajpur. He completed his schooling at Parbati Sundari High School in Kaliyaganj and then moved to Kolkata for his higher studies. He pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Ashutosh College and later earned a Master's in Mathematics from Jadavpur University. He completed his Ph.D. from Kalyani University.
Bhowmick spent over three decades teaching at South Point High School and has actively participated in discussions related to mathematics education, both nationally and internationally. He is a regular contributor of research essays to various newspapers and journals. Amal Bhowmick is a lifelong member of numerous cultural organizations, education, and research institutes. His contributions to mathematics and education have earned him several honors and accolades.
