About the Author / Editor
S. Sheraz Mahdi is an Assistant Professor-cum-Jr. Scientist (Agronomy) at Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir (SKUAST-K), Shalimar, Srinagar, Kashmir (J&K), India. He specializes in crop-climate modeling, climate change, and cereal crop production. Dr. Mahdi has served the Bihar Agricultural University and has been an independent researcher in the cold arid region of Kargil Ladakh. He holds a PhD in Agronomy from SKUAST-K and has published over 45 research papers, 12 books, and numerous popular articles. Dr. Mahdi has been awarded the Young Scientist Award by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.
