About the Book:
This comprehensive volume focuses on the biogeographic dimensions, biodiversity conservation, and the sustainable use of natural resources for socio-economic development. It provides a holistic perspective on biodiversity, including topics such as biogeographic monitoring, climate change, invasive and alien species, eco-tourism, and conservation strategies. Special attention is given to mountain, coastal, and marine biodiversity, along with eco-development in protected areas, indigenous knowledge systems, technology transfer, and public awareness initiatives.

The book contains 26 insightful chapters, featuring both conceptual and empirical case studies from developed and developing countries. By integrating science and policy perspectives, it bridges the gap between academic research and practical conservation efforts.
