About the Book
Health, Human Rights and Ethics provides a compelling analysis of the intricate relationship between health rights and medical ethics, particularly in the context of the growing awareness of human dignity and the right to healthcare. The book delves into the concepts of health rights and medical ethics across both private and government hospital settings, highlighting the ethical responsibilities doctors must uphold in their professional practice.
As patients increasingly become aware of their health rights, it is crucial for doctors to be well-versed in the ethical issues they may encounter. The book explores the implications of these issues, from health infrastructure to patient-doctor interactions, and offers an incisive analysis of how medical ethics are applied in real-world hospital environments. The book will be of interest to professionals across a range of fields, including anthropology, sociology, legal studies, public and private health practice, and policymaking.
