About the Authors:
Monika Kannan is a Professor and Head of the Department of Geography at Sophia Girls' College (Autonomous), Ajmer. With 18 years of experience in teaching and research, her work spans Crime Mapping, Geopolitics, Gender Studies, GIS, and Remote Sensing. She has published eight books and 64 research papers in national and international journals. She is the Chief Editor of Khoj – The International Peer-Reviewed Journal of Geography and has received prestigious awards like the National Young Geographer Award.
Shilpi Yadav is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography at Sophia Girls' College (Autonomous), Ajmer, with six years of experience. Her research interests include Environment, Climate Change, Urban Infrastructure, Border Disputes, and Geopolitics. She has published several research papers and has acted as a resource person for Geospatial Training Programmes.
