About the Authors:

Monika Kannan is a Professor and Head of the Department of Geography at Sophia Girls’ College (Autonomous), Ajmer. With over 18 years of experience in teaching and research, her expertise spans across Crime Mapping, Geopolitics, Gender Studies, GIS, Remote Sensing, and Juvenile Delinquencies. She has authored eight books and published 64 research papers in national and international journals. Dr. Kannan has received notable awards like the Certificate of Excellence by France Congress, Paris and the National Young Geographer Award.

Shilpi Yadav is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography at Sophia Girls' College (Autonomous), Ajmer, with six years of teaching and research experience. Her research interests include Environment, Climate Change, Urban Infrastructure, Border Disputes, and Geopolitics. She has published several research papers and has served as a resource person for Geospatial Training Programmes.
