Product Description:

This book, written almost immediately after Gandhi's demise, presents a fresh view of his struggle to achieve "peace in the human home," embedded in Mallik's socio-philosophical theory of conflict and its avoidance. The author’s perspective on the dynamics of history reinterprets the life and death of Mahatma Gandhi, not as a mere episode in the milieu of traditional values but as a significant event that opens up new and unprecedented possibilities for the future of humankind. As an original and thought-provoking perspective, this work is sure to interest Gandhians, philosophers, and historians alike.
