About the Author / Editor

• Yukio Himiyama is a Professor of Geography at Hokkaido University of Education and an influential figure in global environmental education. He has represented Japan in several international organizations and led the IGU Commission on Land Use/Cover Change from 1996 to 2004.

• R.B. Singh is a senior faculty member at the Department of Geography, Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi. He serves as Secretary General of NAGI and holds key positions in international scientific organizations.

• Fusayuki Kanda is a Professor at Hokkaido University of Education, specializing in ecosystem management and river restoration. He is also the Director of the ESD Promotion Centre at Hokkaido University.

• James Hindson is the Head of FSC Environmental Education and oversees various sustainability and public awareness projects globally.
