Book Description:
This book is a beautiful reflection on the innocence and purity of childhood, particularly the early years, from the second year to the seventh or eighth. Children, in this period, are portrayed as being full of life, free of worries, and embodying the grace of divinity. The child’s natural innocence, openness, and the unquestionable love for their parents are explored in this heartwarming narrative.
In Hindu mythology, the divine family of Shiva and Parvati (or Uma) are the only gods depicted with children, namely Ganesha and Karttikeya. This book presents the love and affection between the divine children and their doting parents, capturing the beauty of their familial bond. Through delightful illustrations and charming verses, the Kogatas provide a glimpse into the divine childhood of Ganesha and Karttikeya.
The book serves as a small yet profound attempt to express the warmth, love, and protection found in the world of children, and the Kogatas’ artistic interpretation adds an extra layer of beauty to this tender theme.
