• Career: Started with tutoring, worked in various roles, including in an insurance company, UNESCO, and government offices. He was the founder-editor of Krittibas magazine.
• Notable Works: His first novel was Atmaprakash, published in Desh magazine. He was known for his poetry and also wrote novels for children.
• Awards: Received numerous awards including the Bunkim Award (1983) and the Sahitya Akademi Award (1985).
