हेरम्ब चतुर्वेदी जन्म : दिसम्बर, 1955, इन्दौर (म.प्र.) में। शिक्षा इलाहाबाद में। इतिहास के सेवानिवृत्त प्रोफ़ेसर, पूर्व डीन, कला संकाय, पूर्व अध्यक्ष, इतिहास विभाग, इलाहाबाद विश्वविद्यालय। बेसिक और जूनियर हाई स्कूल कक्षाओं-1 से 8 तक के पाठ्यक्रम को डिजाइन करने और उन पाठ्यपुस्तकों को लिखने के लिए परामर्शदाता रहे। विभिन्न विश्वविद्यालयों के शैक्षणिक निकायों के सदस्य रहे। इतिहास पर सन्दर्भ पुस्तकें लिखने के अलावा गांधी और नेहरू दोनों पर एक किताब भी शामिल है ‘दास्तान मुग़ल महिलाओं की’ को बीबीसी द्वारा 2013 की सर्वश्रेष्ठ हिन्दी किताबों की सूची में शामिल। प्रकाशित पुस्तकें : इतिहास के सन्दर्भ ग्रन्थ 10; इनमें से दो, ‘मध्यकालीन इतिहास के स्रोत’ (2003) तथा ‘मध्यकालीन भारत में राज्य एवं राजनीति’ (2005) पर उ.प्र. हिन्दी संस्थान का 'आचार्य नरेन्द्र देव पुरस्कार' 2003 एवं 2005 में। कविता संकलन-2; ऐतिहासिक कहानियों के संग्रह-3; ऐतिहासिक उपन्यास ( मुग़ल शहज़ादा खुसरू)-1 ; अन्य-2; शोध पत्र 60 तथा प्रकाशित लेख 60। अन्य कृतियाँ : ‘मुग़ल शहज़ादा खुसरू’ (ऐतिहासिक उपन्यास, 2016), ‘दो सुल्तान, दो बादशाह’ (लम्बी कहानियों का संकलन, 2016 ), ‘कुम्भ : ऐतिहासिक वाङ्मय’ (2019)।
