About the Book:
At the age of just 18, Mother Teresa (born 1910) arrived in India, pledging to dedicate her life to humanitarian service. She never looked back after that. For the rest of her life (until her death in 1997), her sole devotion was to serving humanity. Based in Kolkata, her mission extended worldwide, becoming a symbol of selfless service. Mother Teresa recognized the harsh truth that freedom from poverty and suffering is an impossible dream for many, yet she always stood beside the downtrodden, the marginalized, and the dying. With love as her only currency, she became an embodiment of compassion and mercy.

Her order, Missionaries of Charity, was like a silent prayer for those in need. Globally revered, Mother Teresa received the highest honors, including the Nobel Peace Prize, though she considered the greatest reward to be the love of the humble and poor souls she served. Despite criticism and controversy surrounding her, Mother Teresa remained focused on her mission. This book, written by Sudeb Raychowdhury twenty-two years ago, still holds historical value, now reissued with expanded and revised content.
