Summary:
"Chatimtalar Gan" reflects the essence of ashram life in the 1950s-60s. Over time, the life of Shantiniketan has evolved like a flowing river, continuously taking on new forms. The story of the ashram's life and its unforgettable events, from Rabindranath Tagore’s time through various phases, resembles an ongoing Mahabharata—with no end to its narrative. As time flows on, Shantiniketan continues its journey, honoring the legacy of those who have departed, their dedication and sacrifices shaping what today is Rabindrabhavan.

The teachings of Rabindranath Tagore have sustained Shantiniketan as an institution, and the intrinsic strength of the Ashram’s spirit keeps his ideals alive. The book also conveys the message that Tagore’s philosophy remains relevant today, as people worldwide continue to honor his vision. Chatimtalar Gan is a musical echo of the joy and inspiration from that era, encapsulating the philosophy of unity, truth, and the divine presence within the ashram.
