Summary:
Bane Bane Berai is a comprehensive and informative guidebook on the national parks and wildlife sanctuaries of India. These natural reserves hold a prominent place on the global tourism map, and yet there is a lack of detailed resources for travelers wishing to explore them. This book addresses that gap, offering practical information on how to visit these parks, book forest bungalows, the expenses involved, and most importantly, the unique natural beauty and significance of these places.
The book includes detailed information on various national parks and wildlife sanctuaries in India, both well-known and lesser-known, along with valuable tips for travelers. The authors, Kalyan Chakraborty and Bishwajit Raychowdhury, have firsthand experience visiting forests and wildlife reserves, and they share their knowledge through clear and engaging language. Their insights offer readers a deeper understanding of these regions, not just from a traveler's perspective, but from an ecological and conservationist angle as well.
