About the Author
K N Rao is a distinguished Indian Vedic astrologer, renowned for his vast knowledge and experience in the field of astrology. His full name is Kotamraju Narayana Rao, and he comes from a Brahmin family in Andhra Pradesh. He is the second of four children of K R Rao, a prominent journalist during the Indian independence movement. K N Rao’s elder brother, Pratap Rao, served in the Foreign Service, while his younger brother, Vikram Rao, became the President of the All India Working Journalists Association. His youngest brother retired as a bank manager and later contributed to the prestigious Journal of Astrology.
K N Rao is highly educated, having completed his Master’s in English Literature. Before embarking on his career in astrology, he worked as an English language lecturer. Later, he joined the Indian Audit and Accounts Service, where he eventually retired as Director-General in 1990. His influence in Vedic astrology has been immense, and he continues to inspire many with his guidance.
