About the Author:
Dr. Narasingha Charan Panda is an Associate Professor in Sanskrit at the Vishveshvaranand Vishvabandhu Institute of Sanskrit and Indological Studies, Punjab University, Hoshiarpur. A prominent scholar in Indology, he holds a B.A. (Hons.) in Sanskrit from Utkal University, a Postgraduate degree and M.Phil. from Kurukshetra University, and a Ph.D. in Vedic Studies from Punjab University.

Dr. Panda’s expertise spans across various branches of Indology, including Buddhism, Kashmir Shaivism, and Indian Philosophy. He has authored and edited several important works in the field of Indology, such as Perspectives of Indian Thought, Upadesasahasri (Critically Edited), and Gods and Goddesses in Indian Arts and Literature.
