First Chapter ?Introduction? describes in brief, ?what is drawing? and gives a short account of Jaipur museums. Chapter 2 is on the classification of drawing and their source. Chapter 3 describes different Rajasthan schools and their technique. Subject matter of drawings forms the fourth Chapter. Last chapter is an analytic study. Because of the dearth of publications on drawings in India, this first book in the series of four will be a welcome contribution to the history of art in India and will provide good study material for students, artists and connoisseurs.
