Author Information:
Vinay Kumar Gupta, born in Mathura on 24th November 1981, is a dedicated researcher in the field of archaeology, particularly focusing on the Mathura region. A bright student throughout his academic career, he earned his BSc degree from Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University (formerly Agra University), followed by an M.A. in Archaeology and Heritage Management from Indraprastha University, Delhi, where he stood first in the order of merit. He furthered his studies with a Post Graduate Diploma in Archaeology from the Institute of Archaeology, N. Delhi, and earned his U.G.C.-J.R.F/NET qualification in archaeology on his first attempt.

Currently, he is working on his research project "Braj: An Art and Archaeological Study" at the National Museum Institute, focusing on the art, archaeology, and settlement patterns of the Braj region. Vinay has made extensive exploratory surveys in the region, discovering over 500 new archaeological sites. His work has contributed several research papers and articles to the academic community, and with his first book's publication, he is expected to make a significant mark in the scholarly world.
