About the Book
"Samajik Vicharak" presents an in-depth study of the major social thinkers who have shaped sociology as a discipline. While most Indian universities include social thinkers in their curricula, Hindi literature in this domain is limited and often lacks a multi-dimensional perspective.
This book addresses that gap, offering a holistic understanding of each thinker’s contributions, beyond the narrow scope of prescribed syllabus topics. The work covers Auguste Comte, Karl Marx, Herbert Spencer, Emile Durkheim, Georg Simmel, Max Weber, Vilfredo Pareto, Pitirim Sorokin, Talcott Parsons, and Robert K. Merton—explaining their ideas, theories, and relevance to modern sociology.
Suitable for sociology students and readers interested in exploring social change, social stratification, and tribal societies, this book is an authoritative resource in Hindi for understanding the breadth of sociological thought.
