About the Author

Jyotirmoy Sen is a former Associate Professor of Geography at Siliguri College, West Bengal, with more than fifty years of experience in teaching and research at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He has authored over thirty books, including study materials for distance learning, and has contributed to numerous national and international seminars. Additionally, he has completed five minor research projects and was an expert on Pan-Indian Terminology (Human Geography) for the Government of India in 1988.
