About the Author

Jyotirmoy Sen is a former Associate Professor of Geography at Siliguri College, West Bengal, with over five decades of teaching and research experience. He has authored more than thirty books, including study materials for distance learning, and has participated in numerous national and international seminars. Sen has also worked on various research projects and served as an expert on Pan-Indian Terminology (Human Geography) for the Government of India in 1988.
