About the Authors

  • Piyush Tiwari: Associate Professor of Property at the University of Melbourne, Australia. He helped establish the School of Real Estate in 2013 and has held significant positions in policy at the Infrastructure Development Finance Company (IDFC), India.

  • Ranesh Nair: A management consultant and urban enthusiast, Ranesh was part of the High Powered Expert Committee on Urban Infrastructure, Government of India. He also served as Senior Vice President of Policy at IDFC, New Delhi.

  • Pavan Ankinapalli: Associate Vice President at the IDFC Institute, a think tank focused on India’s political, economic, and spatial transitions.

  • Jyoti Rao: Architect and urban planner, formerly an Assistant Professor in Real Estate at the RICS School of Built Environment, India. She contributed to the physical planning of the Gujarat International Finance Tec (GIFT) City project.

  • Pritika Hingorani: Associate Vice President at the IDFC Institute. She has worked globally with Charles River Associates in Washington DC and London.
