C.D. Narasimhaiah, an accomplished scholar, was educated at the universities of Mysore, Cambridge, and Princeton. He held various academic positions, including as a Visiting Lecturer at Yale, Leeds, Queensland, Flinders, and Texas. Additionally, he was an Honorary Fellow at Wisconsin, a Consultant at the East-West Centre in Hawaii, and Chairman of the Association for Commonwealth Literature and Language Studies. Narasimhaiah is a fellow of the International Centre of Arts and Letters in Switzerland, the Leonardo da Vinci Centre in Italy, and he serves as the Editor-Director of The Literary Criterion Centre, Dhvanyaloka, Mysore, India. He has authored and edited more than 25 books.
