About Tangail Saree:
The Tangail saree is an authentic handwoven saree known for its light, breathable cotton fabric. It is popular as a daily wear due to its comfort and ease. Tangail sarees are woven with extra weft buti, which are tiny motifs spread throughout the saree using a Jacquard loom. This technique gives Tangail sarees their distinct appearance, with floral designs or contemporary motifs.

Weaving Process: About 1,000 weavers and 2,000 ancillary artisans are involved in producing these sarees, mainly in the Nadia and Bardhaman districts.
