About the Author
Dr. V.V. Doiphode is an eminent Ayurvedic expert with a rich academic and clinical background. He graduated from Tilak Ayurved College, Pune, and completed his post-graduation in Ayurvedic Science (M.A.Sc.) specializing in ENT & Ophthalmology. He later earned his Ph.D. in Anatomy from Pune University, with his thesis being awarded the best in an All India competition held by N.S.R.I. Lucknow. Dr. Doiphode is currently the Dean of the Faculty of Ayurvedic Medicine at Pune University and the Principal of Tilak Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya. He is also the Superintendent of Seth Tarachand Hospital in Pune. His research focuses on identifying herbal drugs to manage diseases like AIDS and cancer.
