About the Author

आर.एन. मिश्रा (R.N. Mishra) is a retired professor and head of the Geography Department at the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. With a long career in academia and research, he has authored several research papers and has been the president of the Rajasthan Geographical Association. He has also edited the association’s journal, Annals, and is a member of several national and international academic organizations. He has previously published four reference books and one textbook.

पवन कुमार शर्मा (P.K. Sharma) is an Assistant Professor in the Geography Department at Dr. Hari Singh Gour Central University, Sagar. He has completed his M.Phil. and Ph.D. in addition to a diploma in population ecology. He has undertaken two major research projects funded by UGC and ICSSR and has published several research papers in various journals.
