About the Author
Ramyagya Singh (born 1933) has been working at the University of Zambia since 1997. He has extensive experience in rural community development and rural settlements, gained through his seven-year tenure as a B.D.O. He has also worked as an Assistant Professor at Addis Ababa University in Ethiopia for two years. Singh is a member of several prestigious organizations, including the National Geographical Society of India and the National Association of Geographers, India (NAGI). He has contributed several research papers published in various journals and edited books.
