About the Author:

Dr. P. Subramani Sthapathi, born on June 1, 1955, is a renowned expert in traditional sculpture and architecture. He completed a four-year course in traditional sculpture and architecture at S.V. Institute for Traditional Sculpture and Architecture, Tirupati. He holds M.A. degrees from Andhra University and P.S. Telugu University, along with M.Phil. and Ph.D. degrees. Dr. Sthapathi has received two gold medals for his contributions in the fields of art and architecture from the Governor of Andhra Pradesh.

He is actively involved with numerous academic bodies, including The AP History Congress, Vastu Vedic Research Foundation, and the Indian History Congress. With 32 years of teaching experience in traditional sculpture and architecture, he has also worked as a Sthapati (architect) in the Endowments Department.

Dr. Sthapathi has authored books like Prasad Lakshanam and Mana Devalayalu and has constructed many temples across India. He is the recipient of the Hamsa Devlok Award, the Hemsa Kalaratna Award, and a cash award of Rs. 50,000 from the Government of Andhra Pradesh for his excellence in the field of traditional architecture.
