P. C. Jain is a distinguished aesthete, art historian, and author whose career began in 1961 as a university teacher. Over the decades, he transitioned through journalism and politics before returning to his academic and literary roots. He has contributed extensively to the fields of art history, aesthetics, and Indian heritage through books, newsletters, and academic presentations.
His prolific body of work includes research on monuments, architecture, Indian miniatures, folk and tribal arts, textiles, and more. Notable publications include Magic Makers, Khajuraho, Ramayana, Sri Harmandar Sahib, Journey of Thread, and Vatsyayana Discovered: Revisiting Kamasutra.
